So I'm back. Attempt to control yourselves, people.
The Austrians are delightful as ever, and the Stromenghast Institute was certainly quite the experience, but I was ready to come back to Britain. While it is undoubtedly an honour to be the youngest chair of Arithmancy ever, there are only so many times one can eat schnitzel with the Dean of Magical Sciences before one feels they might combust in a storm of veal and potato salad. Not to say that Madam van der Klausen isn't a joy of a woman to work for, but one does miss British food.
I never thought I'd put that phrase in writing.
So I will be working on a new book from home, and I will be consulting with Septima Vector on possible updates to the Arithmancy program at the old Alma Mater. Exciting times, I know. Is anyone around who hasn't descended into boring marital bliss or been consumed by offspring? I have a case of actual Green Faery Absinthe that is screaming to be shared among old friends.
